Ontario: don't wait too long to report
Ontario's insurance regulator (FSRA) tells drivers to report a crash to their broker, agent, or insurance company within 7 days. Even so, the safest move is to report it as soon as you reasonably can — and to check your own policy, since the exact rules can vary.
